This museum is housed in the former Carabinieri barracks and is a multifunctional space that not only hosts temporary exhibitions, meetings, and concerts, but also celebrates the extraordinary resourcefulness of Donna Francesca.<\/p>\n<p>Donna Francesca Sulis played a key role in introducing silkworm breeding with mulberry trees in Muravera extensively. He also organized spinning and loom-weaving classes for village women, demonstrating visionary resourcefulness in an archaic region like Sardinia three centuries ago.<\/p>\n<p>Her dedication and commitment led her to start a production of high-quality silk, which was sold to merchants in Piedmont and Lombardy. In addition, Donna Francesca Sanna Sulis was the inventor of an elegant female accessory known as &#8220;su cambusciu,&#8221; a bonnet adorned with brocade that was in vogue among wealthy girls of the
