Citrus Festival, the highlight of the event on April 28 with the parade of folk groups

Sunday, April 28, will be the highlight day of the Citrus Festival, dedicated to the impressive parade with folk groups, etnotraccas, musicians, traditional carnival masks, knights and amazons. The meeting on Rome Street will be at 10:00 a.m. The Folklore Review, presented by Giuliano Marongiu and Roberto Tangianu, will take place in Europa Square from 4:30 pm. Those who cannot be present will have the opportunity not to miss the celebration thanks to live broadcasts on the Videolina station and streaming on Sardegna Live channels.

A rich and varied program the organizers have put together, with tastings, show cooking, guided tours, craft exhibits, photography and painting exhibitions, tournaments, workshops and conferences.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the “pratzas,” the most characteristic courtyards of the old houses of Muravera, where they can taste local products, and learn about the ancient customs of this wonderful center of Sarrabus.

Among the various events, a musical performance by the middle school choir and orchestra will be held on April 24 at 5 p.m. in Europe Square. At 5:30 p.m. the opening of the exhibition “Citrus International Contemporary Art” at the Donna Francesca Sanna Sulis Museum, which can be visited until June 24.
