TRAINING COURSE FOR TOUR OPERATORS IN MURAVERA: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE GROWTH OF THE LOCAL TOURISM SECTOR
TheTourism Department of the Municipality of Muravera, as part of the promotion, communication and marketing project called “Muravera Welcome,” is pleased to announce the organization of a training course dedicated to tour operators operating in the municipal area. The course aims to enhance the skills of practitioners and promote sustainable tourism development.
The course will be held on the dates of May 6, 7, 8 and 13, 2024, at the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Muravera. The training activity, organized by PrimaIdea Srl and supervised by lecturer Maurizio Orgiana, will be structured in four modules of 5 hours each, on the topics outlined below:
May 6, 9:30 a.m. – The Principles of Destination Marketing and the Tourism Product
This module will provide an in-depth look at the fundamentals of tourism marketing, focusing on the peculiarities of the area and strategies for developing successful tourism products.
May 7, 9:30 a.m. – Branding and destination branding
This session will explore the concepts of branding and destination branding, providing tour operators with the tools needed to create and promote a strong and distinctive identity for Muravera as a tourism destination.
May 8, 9:30 a.m. – Operational Marketing Techniques
The third module will focus on practical operational marketing techniques, providing tour operators with the skills needed to plan and implement effective marketing strategies to promote local attractions and services.
May 13, 9:30 a.m. – Creating a marketing plan
On the last day of the course, tour operators will learn how to develop a comprehensive and customized marketing plan for their business or accommodation facility, integrating the concepts and techniques learned in the previous modules.
The Municipality of Muravera invites all tourism operators to participate in the training course as an opportunity to improve their professional skills and contribute in a participatory way to the sustainable development of local tourism.
